SERVICES & SERMONS
Since 1837, St. John's has been a beacon of the love of Christ in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County and beyond. We strive to be disciples of Jesus Christ by gathering on Sundays for worship and other days of the week through a variety of opportunities to reach out into the broader world. We encourage everyone to be part of our work using an individual's time and talents. We offer a variety of opportunity for education and Christian formation because we believe strongly that questions should not be left at the door!
BECOME A PART OF OUR FAMILY
We are committed to God, to our church, and to each other as a family in Christ, providing and cherishing spiritual growth and living our faith in the community at large. Being together is one way that we support each other and our community. Worshiping together, in person or through online opportunities, is a main focus of our understanding that Jesus calls us to love one another. Offering hospitality to our community is another way we show the love of Christ to all.
Holy Eucharist is normally offered each Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, St. John's has suspended the serving of communion as a part of worship until further notice.
You are welcome however to join us "in person" each Sunday at 8:00 am or 10:30 am for Liturgy of the Word, or "virtually" at 10:30 am on Facebook or YouTube.

"You will see greater things than these.” And he said to him, “Very truly, I tell you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."
”Come and see."
January 3, 2021
"I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe.."
